Born and educated in Toronto RoseMarie illustrated in a number of art studios, eventually becoming a partner in one of Toronto’s largest studios all the while painting and exhibiting fine art throughout Ontario. Following this RoseMarie formed a partnership to design and illustrate award winning packaging systems, children’s activities, toys, games and puzzles for numerous multi-national corporations before devoting herself completely to fine art.An avid wilderness traveler RoseMarie has rafted, canoed and camped throughout Canada’s provinces and territories and the northern United States. Coast to coast and throughout the High Arctic and Greenland she has adventured gathering inspiration, photographing, sketching, and painting en plein air wherever possible. RoseMarie’s paintings are in private collections in Canada, the Canadian Coast Guard, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, Vancouver Maritime Museum, the Kawartha Art Gallery, as well as private collections in the USA and Europe. An avid supporter of arts organizations locally, RoseMarie is a signature member of Artists For Conservation, the Kawartha Art Gallery, the Kawartha Arts Network and the Rails End Gallery.
